Brief History
Ronnie and Diane Benns started R G Benns Roofing Co in 1965 installing good quality built-up felt roofing systems throughout East Anglia. In the early 1980’s the company expanded into roof slating & tiling. In the mid 1980’s R G Benns roofing Co started repairing and installing industrial roofing & cladding and also lead roofing.
In 1990 we moved to our new premises nearer to Norwich on the Rackheath Industrial Estate.
In 2004 R G Benns Roofing Co started trading as a Limited company which is now run by Ronnie and Diane’s son Steven and their daughter Deborah who carries out part time administration duties.
The Roofers
R G Benns Roofing Co Ltd has very experienced roofing tradesmen who take pride in their work providing a good quality service and a high standard of workmanship. We also like to take on trainees when we can, which give them the opportunity to learn from our experienced tradesmen.
Training
All our staff have had Health & Safety training which include Site Safety, Working at Height, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Fire Safety and Asbestos Awareness as a minimum. Also we have had various job related training.
